Get to know me - The Beauty blogger tag!

Hello lovelies!

So today I am going to do the beauty blogger tag. I was going to do a November favourites but my products had not changed and I did not want to bore you. Anyways, lets get on with the questions!

                                                 1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
My hair is interesting. I usually wash  it at night and it dries while i sleep. Overnight it dries very wavy But if i shower in the morning and let it dry naturally then it dries loosely wavy. It is very frizzy.

                                                2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?

I have never died my hair. I lighten it using my holy grail product "Sun in" Naturally my hair is a very dark blonde colour and i just prefer my hair to be a much lighter blonde. The colour of my hair is in the picture above. Sun in is a spray that lightens your hair using natural ingredients. It works far better in the summer. I could do a blog post on Sun in sometime next year? So yes, I colour my hair at home.

                                  3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?

I change it alot but my absolute favourite hair style has to be a middle (but to the side) parting with the front parts pinned back. It sounds a lot more complicated that it really is.

                                           4. How often do you change your nail polish?

Well I am in school and I am not allowed to wear nail polish. I wear nail polish most weekends.

                                   5. Do you polish your toes in the winter or just the summer?

I put nail polish on my toes all throughout the year. My favourite nail polish to put on my toes is Essies "Miami Nice"

 

6. How long does it take for you to put on makeup?

In my last post i shared my everyday makeup routine for school. If i am using a lot of makeup then It will take me from 15-20 minutes. If i am wearing a normal (minimal) amount of makeup it will take me about five minutes. I like to take it slow and stare at myself in the mirror ahaha. Everyday makeup routine

                                                              Face, always face.

                      

                        8. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?

Unfortunately (for my purse) I collect makeup. I love trying new things and writing about them for you guys! I wonder if i could do a makeup collection blogpost?....

                                            

                                           9. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?

                                    Absolutely not! I hardly ever wear a full face of makeup actually.

                                  

                              10. Do you wear makeup when you're home alone or with family?

              Never when i'm home alone but it depends whether i'm going out with family of just being with the                                                                                family.

                                            

                                           11. Will you leave the house without makeup?

                                       Yes and I usually do! I don't think makeup is essential at all.

                   12. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you're getting dressed?

As i mentioned before i go to a school with a uniform policy, so I have it easy and i wear a school uniform everyday. On weekends etc i usually decide when i'm getting dressed.

                                               13. How often do you change your handbag?

I have a selection of handbags and i alternate according to outfit etc. I don't carry a lot around with me so I usually have a small bag.

                                          14. What time do you wake up and go to sleep?

I wake up just before 7am for school and i go to sleep between 11pm and 12pm I don't get as much sleep as i should but. yh

                                                15. How often or when do you workout?

.... Moving on.

                                                    16. Left handed or right handed?

Right. This question is boring um

                                                               17. How tall are you?

 5'5 yeah i'm the tall awkward one.

                                                18. Do you speak any foreign languages?

I take french GCSE (I hate it) I took german for two years and i speak very very very basic spanish (Please thank you, numbers up to 10)

                                                      19. How many pets do you have?

Two cats, Bonny and Oscar!

                                                   

                                                     20. How often are you on Blogger?

Whenever I'm on the internet really. Thats quite alot, I write a new blogpost every week.

                                                     21.  What's your favorite color? 

 Blue. Duckegg blue, Teal, turquoise etc. I just love blue.

Every day makeup routine for school!

This is my everyday makeup routine. Even though i just said that, this is the most makeup I will wear. Most days I will wear much less. If i wear a lot of makeup this is what I wear.

First things first i moisturise my face. I use the Clean & Clear Dual action oil-free moisturiser. I love this and i apply it liberally over my face, it sinks in sooo quickly! (On sale right now for £2.39)

Next I apply My foundation. I use the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation (£8.99)This is by far the best foundation I have ever tried. I use the shade "Shell" And it matches my skin tone perfectly! I apply this with the ELF Stipple brush

After this, most days, I apply my favourite bronzer/ contour. I use the 17 Instant glow bronzing powder. (£4.39) I absolutely love it! I use the shade medium I concentrate this under my cheek bones and then blend it out onto my jawline and temples. This gives my face a beautiful glow. I apply this with the ELF professional bronzing brush.

Next i Fill in my eyebrows. I have sparse very blonde eyebrows. I need to fill them in to get them to match my hair. And to prevent me looking like a potato. I use the 2true expert eyebrow pencil. This costs £1.99. And it is soo good! It is long lasting because it is not creamy. Its not soft so its easy to create a natural looking brow without looking like this.

Next I apply my eye makeup. First things first I use some eye primer. I like to use the Elf eyelid primer It is cheap and works very well to keep my eye makeup looking fierce. Next I use eye shadow. I am still a total sucker for the Mua undressed palette (£4) but i am actually planning a tutorial using that so stay tuned for my eyemakeup routine! Next i apply liquid eyeliner I love the Collection Extreme 24h felt tip liner (£3.99)Most times i will either draw a very thin line or do a medium thickness and wing it out. Then i curl my eyelashes and apply generous coats of mascara. I use Revlon's lash potion mascara.

Finally: Lips I apply My Baby lips in cherry me (£2.99) and my Revlon lip butter in sorbet (7.99)and blend out.

The Autumn Tag

Hi Guys!

So today I am doing another tag post, The Autumn Tag! I was going to do the sweater weather tag but you've probably all seen that and had enough of it by now. Also in my last tag post there were no pictures and it was really boring so i am adding pictures to this one. I am not sure who made up this tag and i am definitely not taking Credit for it! Anyway, on with the post.

1. Favourite thing about autumn?

I I just love autumn in general i guess, I love going out with friends and feeling the cold air. I love seeing my breath in the air as well for some reason? The trees all look beautiful and everything just looks prettier in autumn. *Insert obnoxious picture of autumn sunset with me trying to be a photographer*

2. Favourite drink?

I love hot drinks. I love hot chocolate with whipped cream obvs. I also love instant cappuccinos for some reason. With a lot of sugar in, I'm a child sorry. Hot drinks just make me feel all warm and cozy. I am also partial to wearing my onesie while drinking a hot chocolate or coffee.

3. Favourite autumn scent/ candle?

I'm a massive scented candle fan but i have yet to change my candle choices according to the seasons so i am just going to list my favourites. Yankee candles: A child's wish and Turquoise sky (Sampler size £1.80 each). Muji: Strawberry and watermelon (£3.50) and Sebnini of England: Mimosa (TK Max £4.99) These candles all smell amazing, none of them are particularly autumnal  but this does not bother me.

4. Best lipstick?

Whenever i go into boots or superdrug i go straight to the lipsticks of whatever stand i'm looking at. Its strange to me that i dont really have a favourite lipstick. But my favourite lip products are The revlon lip butter in Sorbet and The maybelline baby lips in Cherry me.

                  

5. Go to moisturiser?

I am totally in love with the Clean & Clear dual action mousturiser. This is a recent-ish discovery for me and its amazing! I usually have normal skin with dry patches and an oily T-Zone. Since using this moisturiser my dry patches have completely disappeared and my T-zone remains a little oily but not as extreme ( I believe this is because of the weather as well) This moisteriser has also controlled blemishes on my face and it is just amazing.

 6. Go to colours for the eyes?

I am all about the natural smokey look. For this i use my favourite palette. The Mua "Undressed" palette which is a dupe for the urban decay naked palette. Most days I use Shades 1, 2 and 3 on the lid and then shade 7 in the outer corner and crease. For Parties or nights out i often use the last shade (blue, 14) in the crease. I feel this gives it a really nice "Night out" look. Basically i love this palette alot and if i'm wearing eyeshadow its probably from this palette.

 7.  Favourite outfit to wear?

This autumn i am living in my army jacket and my leather jacket, so definitely an outfit incorporating one of those. I am loving patterned jumpers and skater skirts as well. I'm a huge fan of skater skirts and skater dresses. I think they are really flattering and look lovely. Below is an example of something i would wear. But maybe a little less vegetable-y?

October favourites

Hello Everyone!
October has come to an end. October went very well and i didn't buy much makeup! I still managed to spend all my pocket money though :/ Anyway, November is extremely soon so i can buy more aha I know, i have a problem. Lets get on with the favourites.

My first favourite for october is a hand and nail cream from The body shop. I got this is July for my birthday and have loved it ever since. The hand cream is Almond Scented and i am not a fan of almonds at all but this smells sooo good! It is very moisturizing and makes my hands super soft. It sinks in quickly and does not leave your hands sticky.

My next favourite is The Maybelline Baby lips in "Cherry me" If you have a babylips or any lip balm really you can probably tell how much of this i have used in the three months i've had it. This goes to show my love for it. It is very pigmented for a lip balm and smells amazing. It is so moisturising and leaves your lips smooth for hours. I have a post on baby lips on my blog so feel free to find that and have a read.

My next favourite is the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation in "Shell Coquillage" (Sorry the photos Sideways!) I love this foundation because it is really light but buildable coverage and looks extremely natural. I don't really have many blemishes that i need to cover up so obviously i don't need something with a high coverage. This foundation corrects discolouration and is just beautiful.The only thing i would say is that it does not have a pump and you have to pour it out so if you were very clumsy i don't recommend it.

The next favourite is the Natural Collection blusher in "Peach Melba" I love this because it is not a girly pink but still gives the naturally blushed look i go for.

My next favourite is the lush "Mint Julips" Lip scrub. I love this because it smells (and tastes) amazing! The idea is you rub it on your lips to scrub off any dry parts and then lick it off and apply your lip balm of choice. It makes a perfect base for lipstick and is perfect for the autumn/winter months.

My last favourite for october is actually three things. They are brushes from elf, i ordered these not too long ago online and i love each of them. From left to right I have the Stipple brush, professional bronzing brush and the complexion brush. They each do their job extremely well and i use them everyday more or less.

Nails!

So today i bring you a post about one of my favourite beauty items: Nail polish! Specifically the nail polish I just put on and am loving already.

Sinful Colours Nail polishes are £1.99 from Boots and Rimmel Nail polishes are £2.99 I think?! They are both lovely polishes and i love sparkly nails! I'm sorry this was a short post but i hope you enjoyed it nevertheless!

September Favourites!

Hey Guys!
Sorry I haven't spoken to you in a while, I guess you could say I had writers block. But I'm back for another (slightly late) monthly favourites post. (Warning major cliche!) September flew by and i'm back in the swing of school now, I am doing my GCSE's now and not enjoying it but i wont go into that!

Here are my monthly favourites:

Its sideways! *facepalm* Anyway we have: Natural collection blushed cheeks in peach melba,
Revlon colourburst lip butter in sorbet, Maybelline 24hr colour tattoo in pink gold, Next's just pink
perfume, Taylor swift wonderstruck perfume, The body shops pink grapefruit body mist,
Mua's eyeshadow palette in undressed and finally maybelline's babylips in cherry me.

Natural collection blusher in Peach melba This costs £1.99 from boots. It is an absolute bargain and looks beautiful on the cheeks. It is a gorgeous peach colour (duh) and i like to apply it just above bronzer for a slightly fiercer look. It is a really nice change from pastel pinks and is a lovely product in general.

The Revlon colourburst lip butter in 'Sorbet' It is a beautiful bright pink colour. It is sooooo amazing! Its moisturizing and has a beautiful long lasting colour, I have dry lips in autumn/ winter so this is perfect for me and i would definitely consider getting another one. Its cost £7.99 from boots.

The Maybelline 24hr colour tattoo in 'Pink gold' This is just perfect. It stays exactly where you put it and is just a beautiful colour. I get compliments when i wear it. I love cream eye shadows and these are definitely the best i have tried. You can these for £4.99 at boots.

The Maybelline babylips in 'Cherry me' Yet another perfect product from maybelline! So moisturizing and looks amazing on, smells amazing and tastes good (#noh8) I have also tried 'pink punch' from this line but i just did not like it as much the formula is probably exactly the same but cherry me is better k. (£2.99??)

The MUA palette in 'Undressed' This palette has a big place in my heart (loser) It is absolutely amazing! The stay power is brilliant and the pigmentation is awesome! It is a dupe for Urban decay's 'Naked' Palette and from what i can tell the colours are very similar! It has mattes and shimmers and a good mix of light and dark colours. It is £4 from superdrug and completely and utterly worth it!

As you can see i have some perfume favourites but i am (maybe) doing a separate perfume post so stay tuned!
